Five generations have farmed the land Lucy calls home. Medieval buildings sit amid archaeological sites dating back to the Neolithic age. Lucy’s work is inspired by this environment, reduced to abstracted sculptural forms that have a bird-like or botanical essence. Along with nurturing the land, music and meditation are integral to daily life; the effects of these practices are visible in her work.
