Duran, Matt

Apparatus 1 is a representation of the fragility of home, a shelter, temporary dwelling. It’s not a definition of a marvellous piece of architecture but a resemblance of something that once stood. On his travels Matt has seen many interpretations home, a place of rest, a sanctuary. What we see is a construction, deconstruction and reconstruction of a sacred space.
