Shell and Verdant Vortex are freestanding sculptures created using traditional hand-knotting techniques. Verdant Vortex uses recycled polypropylene (fisherman’s rope) knotted into a sculptural form with the Spanish hitch knot. Shell is made from manila, sisal and hemp, and uses the hand looping technique.
