Gingell, Anne

Anne studied art at Farnham and Central School London in the seventies, receiving a BA in Sculpture Fine Art in 1975. She creates sculptures in mild steel, stainless steel, and Corten. Ranging from 2 ft to 15 ft, she uses the emotive language of shape and line, sometimes including colour. Some of her work is based on figures, creating abstract figures from two-dimensional silhouettes that manifest in three dimensions. Other works describe three dimensions without the figurative reference.
