Save Our Grasslands 2022 Workshops

As part of the Fresh Air Sculpture show 2022, the education team partnered with funding from Cotswold District Council and, friend of Fresh Air Sculpture, Katy Zoraida’s village campaign to Save our Grasslands. The education team launched a local school competition to design a poster to communicate the importance of wildflowers and insects to allow a diverse ecosystem in our local communities.

Six schools took part and chose four worthy winners to attend a one day workshop, funded by Fresh Air Sculpture, in Quenington village Hall. Artist, Sue Green, worked with the children to design and create their own fantasy beetle and the results were breathtaking! They were displayed in the #galleryofthegiants. This was another example of how the education team’s outreach work helps local communities.
