Often only lasting for 2-weeks each year, Cherry blossoms symbolise impermanence and renewal. Global temperature increase threatens to disrupt the seasonal cycles. Glass’s materiality is used to demonstrate the vulnerability of these blossoms.  Each flower is comprised from individual petals fused together and shaped using heat.
