Ashbridge, Lisi

Lisi is a lettering artist and designer specialising in letter carving in stone and wood. Her neuroscience background in how the brain recognizes visual shapes continues to inform her work. She is inspired by themes as diverse as poetry, history, philosophy, science, and the landscape. Lisi is an elected member of the Master Carvers’ Association and Lettering Arts Trust and teaches at the King’s Foundation and West Dean College.
